Beck had had success a few years earlier with the song "Loser," but he didn't have an entire album that cemented his place in the scene. He needed to prove he wasn't just a one hit wonder. Odelay not only did that, it catapulted him into the mainstream, going multi Platinum since its release. In 1997, Beck toured in support of the record
