The fabric is a very fine printed silk that has burn out velvet leaves in white and pale blue raised on the surface. The background print is in tones of grey, blue and black The dress is made in a sleeveless style, with an asymmetrical high set neckline that features a wider shoulder on the right side than the left. The bodice has diagonal pleating from the upper right
