Ceratostigma willmottianum Palmgold Orostachys Each leaf is mostly creamyBlue and gold together again! This 2001 introduction from Palmstead Nursery in the UK boasts brilliant golden new foliage on the 2' tall upright branches. In midsummer, the golden foliage is highlighted by contrasting cobalt blue flowers. Although it has survived single digit temperatures, Ceratostigma willmottianum 'Palmgold' can be late to reemerge. Where it isn't winter hardy, you can still make great use of its vivid colors in summer containers.
