This is completely different texturally than the Chambertin twins with concentrated, densely tannic and robust tannins which are in stark contrast to the suavity of the former. This is a big wine with ample youthful austerity and outstanding length and while this is unlikely to win awards for elegance, its serious, packed and should develop well for at least a decade and drink well for another.
