Vintage Butthole Surfers “Alternative Tentacles” T-Shirt Art This vintage novelty shirtBefore Butthole Surfers were, oddly enough, a chart topping rock band, they were a small weirdo band on Alternative Tentacles, the label ran by Dead Kennedy's frontman Jello Biafra. The band, which was formed by Gibby Haynes and Paul Leary in 1981, released their debut EP in 1983. The record was seven songs and just shy of 20 minutes.
