Fibrous Malachite - D.R. Congo Bright "rivers" of blue weaveHere is an excellent example of fibrous malachite. Looking at the photos, you can see multiple different textures and lots of dimension to this specimen. There is a vein of the host matrix that was not removed during its preparation giving it a little extra character! Malachite is such a fun mineral to collect. Specimens can come in a wide range of green hues and crystal structures. Malachite with this interesting, fibrous texture, is a must have in
