Singular and detailed, it unfolds slowly on the nose, iodine and seaweed give way to pomegranate, cranberry, woodsmoke, lavender and wild fennel aromas. The palate is seamless and pure, its dynamic flavors framed by powdery tannins and vibrant, lip smacking acidity, and it has a hauntingly long finish. It will be long lived in the cellar.
