The narrow foliage is vertically striped white, creating a frosted effect in the garden. Ophiopogon 'Comet' is not extraordinarily vigorous, which we like as a garden designer, so expect a 3' wide patch in 5 years in good rich soil a great way to lighten the woodland garden floor.
