Colourfield * Sound Of The Colourfield [5CD+DVD] Psychedelic Rock Paul JohnsonTHE COLOUR FIELD were formed during the Summer of 1983 by former Specials and Fun Boy Three vocalist, Terry Hall along with ex Swinging Cats organist Toby Lyons, and bassist Karl Shale. The band released only two albums (Virgins and Philistines 1985, and Deception 1987) and seven singles during 3 year period together. From the eponymous The Colour Field in January 1984 to a cover of The Monkees She in 1987, with the UK the hit single Thinking of You.
