Here too there are hints of menthol and wood framing the ripe and fresh dark berry fruit liqueur-like nose where additional nuances of spice and rose petal are present

There is better verve to the large-scaled flavors that are not quite as dense as those of the Bressandes but do offer good power on the very firm finish that is again shaped by relatively grippy and inelegant tannins

yet I suspect it will be even better with a year or two in bottle and should drink brilliantly through 2031

This is also ultra-earthy with its restrained nose of red and dark currant that display background hints of floral
