Hills here are facing south southeast, overlook the valley of the Yonne river in the Town of Joigny. Unique microclimate here in Joigny, subsoils are chalky dating from the upper Cretaceous Era, and are covered with flinty clay. This Pinot Noir is aged in vats and barrels for 12 months. Lively & light with a ton of notes red fruits and spice. A little minerality comes through too.
