The suit is made in a blue and muted brown stripe colored wool. The shoulders of the jacket are heavily padded and the lapels are notched and a little unusual for the period. The jacket has a three button closure and three buttons at the end of each sleeve. There is a flapped pocket at either side and a pocket at the left breast.
