Coterie 3 Size:33" x 26" low-pile velvetCoterie 3 is part of a series of eight works on paper that are reminiscent of the work of the innovative and highly influential American artist Alexander Calder who is best known for his mobiles and wire sculptures. Coterie 3 is a minimalist interpretation on paper of Calders famous mobiles and features a single, unbroken hand drawn graphite line that is looped to represent a mobile wire. The art elements of line, shape, and movement come together in
