This vintage 1940s dress was made by Mme Malouf of Montreal, a well known couturier active during the 1930s and 40s. The dress is made with a dropped waist and a full circle cut skirt. The body of the dress is gathered in horizontal pleats. It is made of black taffeta with a black tulle netting overlay that is punctuated with blue sequin
