Rather than copying a single surviving WWII Sumpftarnmuster example, this pattern was rebuilt by studying multiple historical variants. Original swamp camo differed by manufacturer, production run, and period. Shapes shifted. Spacing changed. Density varied. All of that mattered. The goal was to recreate Sumpftarnmuster as it functioned, not as a frozen museum artifact. The final pattern is
