Lycoris straminea Red Hot Lover Bolivia When I first saw IrisLycoris x straminea 'Red Hot Lover' is a 2021 Plant Delights JLBG release of a Phil Adams hybrid that is two parts Lycoris radiata and one part Lycoris chinensis. The result is a small surprise lily that produces 18" tall scapes, starting in mid August with dainty heads of dazzling, brilliant red flowers.
