Vintage Michael Jordan "Earth Mars" T-Shirt jersey Nike was founded in 1964In 1990s, Michael Jordan was part of an ad campaign for Nike. The commercials advertised Jordan's shoes with Spike Lee playing his Mars Blackmon character from She's Gotta Have It. One ad was a picture of MJ holding Blackmon up by the head, like he was a basketball. Beneath the two it "Best On Earth, Best On Mars." A nice pun on the name. Shortly after, Nike remade the same ad, pairing Jordan with two actors instead this time: Bugs Bunny and Marvin
