13023 Eliot Methuen & CoToklas [1877 1967] was the life partner of Gertrude Stein. She was an American who left for Paris after the 1906 San Fracisco earthquake, where she became a member of the Parisian avant garde. Stein and Toklas ran a salon that attracted authors and artists.
