Sarracenia chelsoni Kniphofia deciduous male fern was selectedWe are pleased to offer this rare, naturally occurring hybrid of Sarracenia purpurea x rubra, thanks to plantsman Frank Galloway, who grew these from seed of plants in Brunswick County, NC. The red upright hooded pitchers, resemble a giant red Sarracenia rubra. These vigorous growers have the same growing requirements very moist soil and bright sun as the rest of the pitcher plants.
