Veritas designed the jig for those who primarily sharpen chisels. Whether theyre beveled or square edged, the chisel blades are kept centered and tight to the reference face of the jig plate by parallel, canted jaws to ensure a precise cutting edge every time. The jig will handle blades from 1 8" to 1 1 2"
