Vintage 1955 Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Brown Iris Dessert Bowl 5 1/2 hans jensen Colour: Vibrant colours in tonesThis is a dessert bowl made by Royal Copenhagen of Denmark in 1955, decorated in the Brown Iris pattern and trimmed in gold. The underside of the plate is marked with the Royal Copenhagen crown mark along with three blue waves, the pattern number 711, the shape number 14112 and the artists initials of mel+. The bar under the letter D in Denmark dates the manufacture of the piece to 1955. The bowl measures 5 1 2 in diameter. I have three of these
