Asarum hirsutisepalum Pellaea John Greenlee(aka: Asarum yakusimense) Asarum hirsutisepalum is a vigorous evergreen wild ginger from Japan with large, glossy, green, triangular leaves with a distinctively artificial rubbery texture. In spring, tucked just under the foliage, are the spectacular flower clusters of really cool, large, yellow flowers, lightly dusted with tiny purple flecks. Asarum hirsutisepalum is a wonderful understory plant with year round interest in the woodland garden!
