Attaches to hydrant end of hose and need not be removed when charging the line, as the straps are made of 2" webbing and Velcro and will attach to 2 1 2" to 5" LDH hose. By attaching the straps securely to the hose you can efficiently grab the hose and hydrant bag together in one pull.
