Eupatorium Phantom PP 18354 Lepechinia exceedingly fragrant flowers with red-stripedFrom Herbert Oudshoorn of the Netherlands comes a very compact Joe Pye, a purported hybrid of Eupatorium maculatum 'Atropurpureum' and Eupatorium rugosum. The resulting Eupatorium 'Phantom' is the shortest and densest Joe Pye we've ever trialed, maturing for us at just 4' tall x 4' wide. The diminutive stalks are topped in August with typical sprays of lavender flowers enjoyed by low flying butterflies as well as cats, who also enjoy low flying
