Antique 19th Century French Faux Bamboo Pine Armoire Wardrobe Cupboard 1880 Sold initially in New YorkA fine quality antique 19th century French faux bamboo pine wardrobe armoire, circa 1880. The armoire is made of finely grained French pine throughout, to the top is a stepped crown made of faux bamboo, the armoire is flanked by faux bamboo columns. The armoire is unusual to have twin doors (as many of these late 19th century armoires have a single door) each with three panels with vertical and horizontal lozenge shaped decoration. The doors enclose a
