The front of this antique vest is made of a fine woven black wool while the back of the vest is made of plain black satin with an adjusting belt at the lower back. It does up with six basketweave silk covered buttons down the front. The lower front has a pointed cutaway and the vest has a four pocket front. The vest has high set notched lapels and is lined in white polished cotton
