Like several wines in the range this is not especially complex at present but my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt that much more will develop with time in bottle

We use 70% French and 30% American oak and the new oak protects the fresh fruit aroma

The alcohol content is a bit much at 15%

Comte Armand, Auxey Duresses 1er Cru Vintage:2011 (raised for 24 months in(a blend of two 1ers, the older vines Les Brterins and Bas de Duresses the vines run from 35 to 75 years of age). This possesses a nose that is compositionally similar to that of the straight Auxey but offers both a bit more aromatic depth and complexity. There is good richness to the lightly mineral inflected flavors that possess good detail and fine length on the less obviously rustic finish as the tannins are more fine grained. (88 91) 2019+
