Vintage Joy Division "Love Will Tear Us Apart" T-Shirt Political This original and rare NirvanaJoy Division were a band from England founded in 1976. The group, which featured Ian Curtis on vocals, Bernand Sumner on guitar, and Peter Hook on bass, were based around the Manchester area and were separately inspired to form after seeing the Sex Pistols play. They signed to Factory Records and released their debut, Unknown Pleasures, in 1979. Curtis's depression proved to be too much even despite their growing success. He committed suicide in May
