Hard ruleDescription
tightly wound and dry finish is like rolling small stone around in the mouth and this is textbook Perrières
with at least another decade of life ahead of it
and a finish that lasts for more than 60 seconds
The supporting tannins are like those of the Ruchots in that they’re dense but fine
Note that this should reward mid-term cellaring and indeed it will need a minimum of 5 years and 6 to 10 would almost certainly be better
Chateau, Duhart-Milon Brut Zero tightly wound and dry finishBased on 63% Smillon and the rest Sauvignon Blanc, the 2023 Chteau Duhart Milon Blanc was vinified and aged in barrels, 50% new. It offers bright citrus, melon rind, mint, and white flowers, with a kiss of minerality. Medium bodied, fresh, and focused, it has vibrant purity, juicy acidity, and an elegant, seamless profile. This cuve was first produced in 2020.
