This is an unused embroidered purple cotton Mexican dress made most likely during the 1970s by an artisan of Oaxaca origin
Vintage Canadian Indian Beaded Jacket Wool Coat First Nations duffle parka This The Clash t-shirt readsThis is a wonderful blue and white 100% wool Indian beaded jacket coat. It was made and beaded by a member of a Canadian First Nations tribe, most likely Northern Indian. I believe that this Native Indian beaded jacket dates to the 1960s. It came with a couple of other items of Labrador origin, so I think that it was made by Native Indians from North East Canada. The beadwork is on the white wool at the upper bodice and back as well as on the pockets.
